First Visit to Citi Field
Yesterday, Saturday June 5th 2010 was my first visit to Citi Field which is the home of the Mets. I enjoyed my experience at Citi Field. The first thing i saw when I arrived was the outside of the stadium which was beautiful. Once inside the stadium, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. We then went to our seats which had a great view of the field and were not bad at all. After we saw where our seats were went went to check out the Cesars club which was one of 3 clubs in the stadium that we had access to. The Cesars club was magnificaent with a wide assortment of food options as well as a 50ft long bar. We then went to get a drink at the bar that was by our seats and my friends and I all got a cranberry with vodka which was very good. Then we got some food which I was impressed with the food. The food and drink at citi field was cheaper than the food and drink options at Yankee Stadium. My lunch/early dinner was a chicken tenders and fries and I was really impressed about how the chicken tenders tasted. They actually tasted very good and in my opinion better than the chicken tenders at Yankee Stadium. After the game which the Mets won 6-1 we went out through the Jackie Robinson Rotunda which was absolutely beautiful. In there, they have a large 42 which I took a picture in front of. Then heading to the train I saw some guy in a spider man costume playing a saxophone. Once we got back to Manhattan, we walked around the city for a bit and headed home about 8:30. Overall, I had a great first visit to Citi field and would like to visit again especailly when they are playing the Yankees.
